You've been here before. The injury that keeps coming back. The clinic that just told you to rest. The rehab that stopped the moment the pain did — only for it to return weeks later. Legacy is where you come to break that cycle: we don't just calm the pain, we fix what caused it and rebuild you stronger, so it doesn't come back.

What We Do

Four ways we keep you in your sport — for the long haul.

Whether you're rebuilding from an injury or building the body that outlasts your competition, this is where it gets done. One roof. One team. One progression that ends in performance.

01

Sports PT

You get a full hour, 1-on-1, with a doctor of physical therapy. Never a tech, never double-booked, never the same generic exercises every other patient does. Care built around your sport — not your insurance code.

02

Performance Training

That nagging shoulder. The hip that pinches at depth. The hamstring that flares every track season. We find the hidden deficits quietly capping your training — and turn them into your next PR.

03

Longevity & Recovery

You plan on training hard for the next 30 years. So do we. Mobility, soft-tissue work, blood-flow restriction, smart deloads — the recovery stack that lets you keep stacking seasons, PRs, and races without breaking down.

04

Return-to-Sport

Most clinics discharge you the day the pain leaves. We don't. You're cleared when force-plate testing, sport-specific drills, and on-field reps say you are — so this is the last time you rehab this injury.

Conditions We Treat

The chronic stuff. The post-op rebuilds. The nagging issues you've been told to live with.

If three other clinics couldn't fix it, that's usually when we start. Acute injury, the recurring tendon, the post-op rebuild that needs to actually finish — we work through all of it, with one progression that ends in performance and stays there.

The Legacy Approach

Four phases that end with you stronger than before the injury.

From your first assessment to the day you walk out hitting numbers you've never hit before. No shortcuts. No skipped steps. No discharge before the job is finished.

Phase 01

Assess.

Movement screen, force plate testing, tendon load profiling, mobility baseline. We measure the body you have so we can build the one that lasts.

Phase 04

Sustain.

You leave with a program, a baseline, and the standard you'll hold yourself to. Most clients stay on — because the work that built you is the same work that keeps you.

The Competitive Athlete

You compete — club, collegiate, semi-pro, masters circuit. You're tired of being told to rest. You need a body that keeps delivering performances, not one that just recovers from them.

FAQ

The questions most people ask first.

Insurance, referrals, what to expect — straight answers, no runaround.

Legacy is a cash-based, out-of-network clinic — by design. It's how we can give you a full hour 1-on-1 with a doctor of physical therapy, every visit, without insurance dictating your care.

That said: we'll verify your benefits before you book if you'd like. Most of our clients have out-of-network PT benefits, and for those who do, we'll bill your insurance on your behalf so you can pursue reimbursement directly. Many clients recoup a meaningful portion of their investment. We're happy to walk you through what to expect on the free Performance Call.

No. Florida is a direct-access state, which means you can see a physical therapist without a physician's referral. If you're post-op or under active medical care, we'll coordinate directly with your surgeon or physician to make sure everything lines up.

Your first visit is a full 60–90 minutes. We listen — to your goals, your training, your history, what's actually limiting you. Then we run a full movement screen, strength and mobility testing, and (depending on the issue) force-plate or sport-specific assessments. You leave with a clear understanding of what's wrong, what we're going to do about it, and a written plan to start that day.

Every session is a full hour, 1-on-1 with your doctor of physical therapy. Frequency depends on what we're working on — typically 1–2 visits per week to start, tapering as you progress. We tell you upfront roughly how many visits we expect. No 36-visit packages designed to fill a schedule.

Three things. (1) You always work with the doctor — never a tech, never double-booked, never four patients at once. (2) Care is built around your sport and your goals, not your insurance code. (3) We don't discharge you the day your pain leaves. You're done when force-plate testing and sport-specific reps say you're stronger than before the injury — not before.

Most clients feel meaningful changes within the first 2–3 visits and have a clear trajectory by the end of week two. Full return-to-sport timelines depend on the injury — but we test you objectively along the way, so you always know exactly where you stand and what's next.

Absolutely. A large portion of our clients are healthy athletes and active adults who come to us for performance training, mobility work, and longevity programming. The best time to find a hidden movement deficit or strength gap is before it becomes an injury.
